How I got around 21 day hold
Wow a ebay paypal mess ,They are screwing up so bad. I was on ebay for 10 years selling , No issues ever than last month sold some items ,$3000.00 for one item , I transfered the money from paypal to my checking account like I always do . then a day later they reversed the transaction and said I need to ship the item first to the buyer and make sure he got the item from me and was happy with it, Well They also said the money would be held up in the account for 21 days before I could transfer it to my account , well no way I was going to do that, its opposite of how I always sold on ebay, It made me very mad , A long wasted talk with paypal over the next few days . new policys cant believe it how they changed it all, any way the guy I sold the item to ended up buying another one from me like it , A total of $5500.00 he spent with me, he wired the money to my bank and was very happy with both items , saved me 600.00 in fees from ebay and paypal. cant believe they cant see how bad there screwing up with there new policys . I undesrstand the problems they have with fraud but we are not all like that . I will never use ebay or paypal again , they were rude and didint care no common sense it seems at either company .I also didnt like being transfered to someone in the Phillipines to talk about my problems here in America with ebay and paypal. , ARE YOU KIDDING ME OR WHAT . wonder how much money they collect on interest when they hold sellers funds for 21 days ?

I hate that 21 day hold policy that paypal and ebay has and they say they will release your money sooner if you show delivery confirmation and get positive feed back but they never do they still hold it for 21 days. I never did anything wrong, have had a few disputes over the years but won all except one. I don’t think all buyers would feel comfortable wiring money but for repeat buyers it’s not a bad idea plus it saves you money.
Unfortunately there is no way around the 21 day hold other then going with another processor. I was with paypal for 5 year with not one single problem and them bam they hit me with the 21 day hold. This does not work for me as I use that money to ship my products. I went with a company called merchantinc about 2 years ago and they have worked out great for me
They collect a whole lot on interest, more then a 1/2 percent, they collect about 4-20% interest on millions of dollars stagnant in their banks. The only way to get your money released is to sue them for the maximum amount you can sue for in your city and have them served.
