Whole apartment building banned from using Paypal

About a year ago someone who lived at the same address as me committed fraud on ebay and was selling used phones as brand new. People caught on and his account was banned. Justice was served. Only thing was PayPal banned my account and every other person in my apartment building. Customer service said when i move to change my address on my profile so the ban can be lifted. I called today only to find out that the ban can never be lifted, they just wanted to track where i went so they could ban that address too and anyone associated with it – to catch the bad guy from striking again. I was told i broke the policy i agreed to but nowhere can i find guilty by living arrangements. Paypal is bullshit. I lost a little over $300 bucks that was just sitting in my account waiting to be transferred. Oh well, they will get no more business from me.

This must be the dumbest thing I have ever heard paypal do. Shut down every account in an apartment building just because one resident committed fraud on ebay using paypal. My building is 20 stories high with 10(I think) apartments per floor so if one of those residents is a fraudster no one in my building can use paypal. That’s just stupid of PayPal.

Wow that has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of them doing. How does a man living in your building have to don with your account? He was caught and that’s great but why was everyone else banned. How can they even assume you now this man? This company cracks me up with the crazy shit they do, Be happy they closed you down. They SUCK anyways!
