Buyer claims unauthorized payment for item he picked up

Hi
I just receive the outcome of an open dispute on PayPal. I have sold an item on ebay and the buyer paid via PayPal. He came and collected the item the same day. 30h later I receive an email that the payment has been put on hold. The buyer has made a claim for unauthorized payment from his account. I have given all the information to PayPal on the same day the case was open saying that the person collected the item in person and provided all the correspondence from ebay to them. I did not get any information from them on what is happening. I called twice and one of the advisors there said that I do not qualify under Seller protection policy and the money will be refunded. The first time I called I was assured that the case will be close quickly. Sorry I forgot to say that the case was open on the 17th July 2012 and the sale was done on the 15th July. The case was closed today the 12th of August. I just want to find out is there any way if I can sue them. I have already contacted my bank and have changed my details so that paypal cannot take any money from my account. Can you give me an advice how to proceed please? I have been a victim of a scam and feel let down by PayPal.

When having a buyer doing a personal/local pick up never ever allow paypal as payment. Paypal will never side with you in case of a dispute since you have no proof of delivery. There really is nothing that paypal is going to do to help you with this. All you can do is file a claim in small claims and get your case heard infront of a judge.
