Charges To My Account

Why is there a $12 charge to my checking account? It is posted from Paypal. I have made no purchases, and was not aware of having this checking account listed as available for charges. I originally listed my Visa account. I need details on the $12 charge. Also, how do I access my paypal account to delete information that should not be there?
