Closed account due to supposed 2nd account.
I received an email from PayPal randomly the other day saying my account was limited, I called them up and asked what was going on, they refused to tell me. I then came off the phone to them and received an email saying they were closing my account as my account is associated with another PayPal account they closed. I called them back up and explained that there are no other users on my account and it isn’t associated with any other ebay or PayPal account. They then explained that the decision was final and I couldn’t appeal against it. After 7 years of having PayPal they close my account for no reason what so ever. They would not tell me about this supposed other account or give me any information about it. What is someone has opened up a paypal account using my information. I think paypal should be required to provide me with information regarding this other account. What’s the harm in giving me the information if the account is mine as they claim?

Are they asking you to pay any outstandingbalances that this other account has? That’s what they did to me. Limited my account accusing me of having a second account with an outstanding balance. Said that If I paid the outstanding balance on the second account they would reinstate my paypal account that was limited. I did NOT and never had another paypal account and I am certainly not going to pay for someone else account. Haven’t used paypal since.
