Credit Card Capable

Writer Wishes To Remain Anonymous

I setup a bog standard Paypal account and linked it with my Paypal account and vica versa.

Logged into my Payapl account and checked items to pay for in the eBay section and sure enough there it was.

Pressed the pay button and tapped in my credit card details and the transaction went through until the other end and said waiting.

The other end five days later tries to get the money and can’t. Standard accounts can’t send or receive credit card payments. So five days later the money is returned. Of course I’ve lost money as the GBP/EURO and back again has lost about £5.

I want to pay with a credit card to get the extra protection the card gives me and Paypal appears to deny me this option. Surely it is not exactly rocket science to include a piece of software that checks that both ends of the transaction are credit card capable before giving me the option to pay with one.
