Over the past two weeks, I have been charged twice on three different occasions for withdrawls on my PayPal debit/ATM charge. Each time, to my surprise, my account was missing the money already deducted. I have to call PayPal “customer service” and have them reverse them. They claim it is an upgrade they are doing to their system. What about the people who don’t catch it and call? They are playing with other people’s money. Today was the last straw. They said, with more lame apologies, that the transaction had been “escalated” and that I would have to file a claim and wait up to 60 days! They have a responsibility to responsibily steward these funds.

Paypal and customer service are like oil and water. I was bounced around from department to department when I had a legit issue that needed to be resolved. They did nothing but give me the run around and a massive headache. I dont trust them anymore. Nuff said!
I highly dobut they were updating their system. Sounds to me like a ploy to rob the blind. They are counting on people not checking their accounts, thats how they make millions… preying off of the ignorant. My cell phone company did the same thing. A-holes
Paypal customer service is notorious for passing the buck and dishing out the run-around. If I were in your shoes I would contact my bank immediately and tell them exactly what has been going on. 9 times out of 10 they will issue the refund on PayPal’s behalf then go after them for the reimbursement. Just the other day I read about someone who was overcharged over $35.00, believe me this happens more than we know. Companies bank on the general publics shooty budgeting and them overlooking minor amounts of money, the make thousands off of it!
