Horrible! They limited my account first 2 months ago and held 15% of each transactions up to now. The total amount has added to over 5K. They have all the amount on hold now, and yet again limited my account asking for more information.
Today, I received the email from them saying that they are initiating the closure of my paypal account. However, they havent yet done it on paypal. I am not able to provide any more information to them. They have my money on hold.
PAYPAL SUCKS BIGTIME!

That really blows but doesn’t surprise me. This is how they operate and make themselves richer. Keeping your money from you in their interest baring account to steal money. SO many people get screwed by paypal I’m AMAZED at the fact that they are still in business. Try using the company I went with after paypal screwed me over. http://www.merchantinc.com
You are going to have to wait at least 180 days to see your money. paypal needs to earn some interest off your money before they’ll release it back to you. It doesn’t matter to paypal whether you did or didn’t do something wrong. All that matters is that you got money they can hold to make more money for themselves. As far as having your eBay account closed… you can always open a new one, just use a different e-mail address but you would have to get a merchant account instead of Paypal to collect payments on ebay.
Congratulations. You don’t need them rather than they don’t want you.
You are lucky they closed your account. Keep it that way. For everybody else, close your account with PayPal ASAP (take any money in it out before they take it from you if you still can…then CLOSE the dang thing. Put their sorry butts right out of business…ALL OF US.
Wouldn’t closing your account while absconding your earned revenue qualify as the illegal obstruction of commerce? I think so. I smell a law suit in the making. Contact the FTC at their online presence and complain LOUDLY to the FTC. Illegal seizure of someone else legally owned and earned capital is outright theft by deception at least, in my book.
After being screwed myself by PayPal (they had yet to learn of my anger) I went to the PayPal ‘member’ forum site, looked up an appropriate keyword category and add the URL for this site to my comment post – I simply directed people to check this site out if interested. An hour later I got an email from PayPal telling me I was now permanently banned from the forums. This was the first and only time I had visited their ‘member’ forum so what does my URL post tell us? That they know exactly what they are and can’t stand being found out. EF ‘em all. I’m outta there for good. (After deleting all my bank account and credit card information. – I DARE them to illegally access my account and without my permission this is a criminal offense, so all of you who have already removed the ACTIVE status giving PayPal permission to steal from your bank accounts/credit cards at will PLEASE go right now and cut them off or you are giving your consent for them to take your money at will. Better yet, after withdrawing your consent, delete all of your account information too – take a time stamped screen shot of the now blank account information page and let them try to steal your money. You’ll have verifiable grounds of unauthorized criminal activity they’ve committed against you. If they pursue your personal funds, hang ‘em – legally.)
