Expensive lesson taught by PayPal
Hi, I advised a buyer of several options in regards postage ( I live in Sydney, australia the buyer in germany) I advised them that they should go for the tracking and signature option ( in retrospect I should have made it mandatory, an expensive lesson) but this buyer decided to go for the cheap option,. You can see where this is leading, anyway they open a dispute after a month saying the item has not turned up. I advised the buyer that it would take a while because of the option they had chosen for shipping takes longer. I emailed the buyer saying I was prepared to refund half the money and if the watch turned up then she got it for half price otherwise we would both be out of pocket 50 percent which considering if they had taken the tracking option none of this would have happened. Anyway paypal in there wisdom found for the buyer without any referral to me or the past history. I have to say I’m narked that no one contacted me in any way regarding this and paypal just took the money out of my account for the refund.

We have all been taught expensive lessons from paypal in one way or another. I have another shipping horror story that ended up costing me $450. Buyer told me that he would not be at his verified address for 3 months due to a work assignment and could I please send the tablet to his temporary address instead? Seemed like a nice guy so why not? I’ll tell you why not!!! Because he was ripping me off, filed a dispute that he never got the item. I have proof of delivery but paypal said since I sent it to an unverified address there is no seller protection. Paypal does not care to read the emails the scumbag sent me asking me to ship to the different address.
A few months ago I ordered a men`s lingerie item on E Bay. Before making the purchase I made very sure that my wife`s capital one master card was no longer the primary card on Paypal. So I type in my credit union`s master card and I made darn sure that the account number was in fact my credit union card. Guess what? PayPal charged my wife`s card and my wife ripped me a new one. Thanks PayPal!
