PayPal Encourages (And Supports) Fraud
For my computer I purchased the Nero dvd burning program and loved it. For Christmas, I wanted to purchase it for my niece and went online for the best price. A company called linkmypc offered a download of the full latest version (not a trial) and emailed me the "key" after payment to PayPal. Turns out of course the key was Pirated and Nero rightfully disabled the program. When I tried to contact the company through the link provided by PayPal, it was dead. I then tried to contact PayPal for restitution, and of course we all know how that went. What I can't believe is that PayPal did not know that they are supporting and encouraging fraud. These companies seek out PayPal because they recognize the layer of protection PayPal provides them. That PayPal does not know what it's doing is simply not believable. Fraud is fraud, and if you are a facilitator you are equally guilty in my book!
