Need legal advice for Colorado
Hi,
I think I got myself into deep end of the pool and not sure how to swim out of it. I am hoping you can help me!
I've used Paypal with no problem for the last two years with no problem. I lost my job for a short time and could not pay bills and saw online a way to sell stuff and working with a third party company that would drop ship to the buyers. However I needed to pay up front before they would ship. I was successful and did that. It seemed things were fine and I made sure to let the buyers know it would take from anywhere from 3 weeks to 4 weeks to get it here from Japan. They weren't too happy, but okay with it. So things seemed okay. I had set aside the money that the company wants for four cameras. The company did not take the funds until the cameras came into US and company was shipping. I used the differences and thought it would be fine. When I saw they limited my funds, I realized I would have problem paying for the Camera. I tried contacting them and got the run around and no resolution. I aslo emailed them and explained the situation. Got email back that made no sense. Decided to wait for Cameras to come in and then try to get them to release the funds for I can. Couple weeks later three of the four buyers filed with Paypal. I explained that they did not take shipping insurance and I am not held liable. They decided in the buyers favor before the date they said they would. I don't have the funds to pay the third person. I am trying to work with Paypal, but they aren't trying to work with me. I now have one of the buyer threatning to send me to collection agency and or take me to court. I told him that I was working with Paypal and he needs to get the money from them. He even called me at my home and claims that my number is listed on my account. I just checked and it is not on my account info. Further more he's claiming I lied about my location.
What can I do! I really need your help badly!!
Thank you!
Wendy
