ok i sold an xbox 360 on pbnation for $425 and the guy paid me paypal so i took the money out of my account (sent it to my bank) got it out of my bank sent out the item to the guy with a tracking number and then the tracking number says he received it so i took and spent the money well then i closed my paypal account a couple of weeks later i got an email saying the guy filed a dispute and he said he never received the item then it says to log in to my account and communicate with him well i can't since i closed my account so i sent paypal a email telling them that i can't communicate since i closed my account then they sent me an email saying i need to log in and tell the buyer i was like what??? so i sent another email saying i can't because i closed my account and they sent me the same thing (i did this about 10 times) now i got an email saying he escalated it to a claim and i got 10 days to communicate or he wins so again i sent them about 10 emails saying i can't and why and like before they sent me the same thing back "log in your account and tell the buyer" so he is 99.9% going to win and get the $425 back (and get to keep the xbox 360) ok so what will paypal do about giving him the money back if he wins since i closed my account? can they take it out of my bank account or what? i had a friend say that they will contact the local police and i will get sent to jail is that true or what please help i'm like so freaking out.

My advice, close your bank account. Open a new one. Or file a claim with your bank for an unauthorized withdrawal if Paypal takes $$ out of the account you have on file with them. Deep breath. Relax.
