Scammed By A Paypal Seller

I ordered a pair of tennis shoes from a tennis shoe website, for my son.

Once I entered the payment method and mailing address, I received and option to have the transaction done through paypal, which I had never heard of, any way I continued the transaction, received an e-mail from the seller that read, that I would receive an e-mail confirmation once items ship.

Two days later there was no e-mail from seller. Attempts were made on my part to contact the seller, but I was un successful. I sent several e-mail messages but none were answered. I waited for about two weeks and still recieved no e-mail and no goods.

I was very concerned so I contacted paypal to resolve this issue. I stated the problem and paypal indicated that they were trying to contact the seller but to no avail. Paypal inturn apologised for the less than pleasant experience, but told me that they were unable to refund my money at this time, but ***ured me that whenever any funds became avialable in the sellers account that they would refund my money.

A few months later I received an e-mail from paypal stating that they were able to recover my funds, and that it would be credited to my account. I went online and checked my account and the funds were indeed recovered.
