Thumbs down Where's My Money Transfer

I didn't realize how unprofessional Paypal was until I recently tried to transfer money from my Canadian bank account to my Paypal account. When the transaction did not clear on the clearing date per the transaction details I called Paypal to enquire why. Well it's now three days past the stated clearing date and I've heard a lot of poor excuses. The most used excuse is my money is in the U.S. National Treasury and somehow Paypal says they have not received the money from the U.S. Natioanl Treasury. When asked why, they could not provide an answer only that they are aware of the problem and thats it. I have never heard so many ways for someone to say they are sorry. I checked with my bank account and it was debited from my account the day after I made the transaction. So since the money was taken from my account, which Paypal confirms, but will not credit my Paypal account I consider this to be theft of my money. So I ask the service reps od Paypal, "why didn't the clearing date, per the transaction details be changed to reflect a revised clearing date", you guessed it, DON'T KNOW!!!
It gets better, I was told by one service rep yesterday that she guaranteed my account will reflect the credit of the funds transfer so like a sucker I took her word for it, she sounded pretty sincere, but guess what, no money today. So here I am a newly proud member of About Paypal.Org. It was easy for me to post this thread because I have been put on hold by a stupervisor and I have been waiting long enough to compose this thread. I will think twice before adding funds to my Paypal account. Dam if its this easy for them to steal people's money maybe I'll forego robbing a bank and just create a new funding source for the eBay community called "givemeyourmoney.com"
