Default Pay Pall Will Rip You Off

1. I hope nobody is baffled as to why PayPal puts a $400 per 24 hour withdrawal limit in their debit cards. It is to hold money captive as long as possible so you can't cash out but might, instead, put the money back into eBay or PayPal itself.

2. I bargained with a buyer; and for an early payment, I gave him a discount. He paid me $8000 through PayPal. Less than an hour later, PayPal put a hold on the money....stating that they were investigating it for fraud. Both the buyer and myself contacted them immediately and started jumping through their hoops so they would release the funds to me. The buyer wrote emails and made phone calls. I wrote emails and made phone calls. One of the "specialists" (yeah, right!) said that the matter would be resolved in 24 hours. Then the buyer got an email stating that his account had been restored. MEANWHILE, my account is still on hold. I can't access my funds. PayPal is holding the funds captive...even though, at this point, they KNOW it wasn't fraud.

When I call them, I get the major run around. Nobody can resolve ANYTHING.

3. The message is clear. DO NOT USE PAYPAL FOR ANY LARGE TRANSACTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They can't handle the business. They will screw you royally, tie up your money, and make you feel like a circus dog jumping through hoops to get them to budge.

4. One time they held my money for 7 days and then, on the 7th day, told me that the funds had been reversed. THESE GUYS ARE A NIGHTMARE TO WORK WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paypal has done the same to me. I have been a member for 8 years buying and selling realestate on ebay. I recently sold a home and put some funds in their money market. When I went to withdraw 500.00, they froze my account. I called and asked why, they said its random. It is to the tune of 45,000.00. my husband is disabled and this is all the money we have. They have asked for every do***ent except my dna and still refuse to give me my money. So folks, do not even leave a dollar in your account. This can happen to anyone for no reason at all. I do have the CA district attorney working of this and please wish me luck. Any attorney out there to help?? Please??

Don't use Paypal for large OR SMALL transactions! Don't use Paypal, period. There are too many other options out there.
