Chargeback Problems
I had been selling wholesale information through ebay for quite some time up until the incident. I had sold a particular email with those virtual goods inside them to someone on august of 06. Almost 2 months later now in october i recieved notice from paypal that i had a chargeback dispute on my account. So i told them the story of how he did recieve his items and that i have proof through my email account that it indeed was sent. Paypal said they would review the case. They refunded his money back like they had no choice, and left me for dead with the $125 negative balance on my account. I spoke to 2 reps about the incident and they both told me the same bs paypal textbook lies that they cannot cover virtual goods within the buyer protection policy which is bogus because they both refused to tell me the details of their investigation with the individuals credit card company with whom he filed the dispute. They also did not take into consideration that the individual also un-registered himself from ebay shortly before making the claim. They ignored the obvious signs that this guy was full of it , and he was laughing becuase he got away with my money that paypal just handed to him like it was nothing. So i asked the paypal reps what would happen if i decided to leave paypal because i refused to pay the balance, their reply was that i would be put into collections. This is outrageous! I have lost time, money, wages, and aggrivation over this whole affair and i feel like i need to sue these despicable people. someone give me some advice, or give me a lawyers number or sthin.... PLEASE
