I am hoping someone on this site can give me some direction into dealing with an ongoing problem. A few months ago, my 19 yr old son applied for a paypal debit card. He sold 4 items online and the funds were placed in his account, which he withdrew. A few days of doing this, paypal limited his account. He contacted them daily to find a solution to this problem. Paypal instructed him to send in do***entation of his SS#, address, etc. He did this. They ***ured him that after information was received and he verified he was who he said he was, that his account would be restored. Then he received another email, asking for his bank statement. In the time of getting paypal this information, he checked his account to find all the transactions had been reversed and closed. Unbelievable! Paypal sent back all the money to buyers and now has my son's account in a negative, and further more they want him to pay back the money. He called again and asked paypal why this was done. Paypal responded he had not followed the seller protection policy and money had been returned. Now my son is out his product and paypal wants him to pay them $248.00. If anyone has any suggestions of how to successfully deal with these people, I would sure appreciate it.
