Default You Can Beat Paypal!

To everyone here there may be a bright light for you. I was the victum of a scam that resulted in paypal making pay back money that I shouldn't of had to.

1. REad you usser agreement carfully, and use it against them. They hope that people don't read it, but do. Also the user agreement is the one that was applicable at the time of your problem not the one that is available now.

2. If paypal get a debt collector to come after you and they have NOT tried to solve the matter before consulting you properly you can claim up $1500 in compensation for their wrongfull act.

3. If you get caught in a scam and Paypal debit your account contact the finacial ombudsman straight away and log a complaint. If paypal keep trying to pursure you whilst this investigation is going then they have broken the rules and report this straight away to the ombudsman.

4. Also lodge the matter with the police debt straight away and get a crime report number as well. The police will contact ebay/paypal and get no where. BUt it goes to show that paypal do not screen their clients properly as all the details on the person who scamed me where incorrect, however the creditcard number used in the sale has never been listed as stolen and paypal excuse for taking the money was that the card had been stolen.

5. TRansactions with asians; IN Asia they have a gambling policy that they use to there advandatge. All they have to do is say to there bank that they were gambling and that they never authorised the transaction there bank will do an imdeadiate reversal. FYI

6. Don't let the matter go fight them all the way, send letter harase them as much as they harase you. But do not take them to court, let them take you to court then they are liable for all cost as well as your travel expencese.

It may of taken 6 months to beat them but stick to your guns and you can.

At no point did ebay ever produce any information that proved that the buyer's bank ordered the reversal! To anyone involved not the police or the ombudsman!

PLease contact me if yo have anyother questions and I may be able to advise.
