Default Fraudulent Charge Back Scheme

You have done a lousy job of protecting your Seller's rights. You are absolutely wrong that the subject of this chargeback is as stated below. The "chargeback" can have nothing to do with merchandise, inasmuch as the purchase price of the merchandise was refunded to Buyer.

Try to grasp this. Despite my plainly stated policy that I don't accept returns, this s***bag not only took the refund I gave him (when YOU made it plain that you did not back up my Seller no-refund policy),

but tried to get a double refund by lying to his credit card company and saying he had neither the merchandise nor the refund.

YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS. THIS INFO HAS ALL ALREADY BEEN PROVIDED TO YOU. THIS IS NOT HARD TO FOLLOW.

1. Idiot buys used book, which is stated to be used
2. Idiot recoils in horror upon receiving book and discovering that it does not appear in pristine new condition
3. Idiot demands refund.
4. Ebay informs Seller that it will allow Idiot to pursue har***ing claim, despite clearly stated no refund policy and used book description
5. Seller follows Ebays resolution policy and offers to refund $50 to end the matter and get rid of Idiot's abuse of Ebay "resolution" system
6. Idiot takes the money, which constitutes a contractual agreement that the matter is resolved
7. Idiot then files a false claim with his credit card company attempting to extort an extra $50+

In no way am I going to be held liable for this jerk's attempted credit card fraud. In no way am I going to continue to use either ebay or PayPal if this is the best you offer by way of back-up, and neither will my 2 adult children.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED TO CANCEL MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND ARE EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN TO PROCESS ANY FURTHER CHARGES TO THIS ACCOUNT. I DEMAND THAT YOU REMOVE THE $12.81 "CHARGE", WHICH IS IN FACT A PENALTY UPON ME FOR BUYER LE NGUYEN'S ATTEMPTED CREDIT CARD FRAUD. I ALSO DEMAND THAT YOU NOTIFY THIS JERK'S CREDIT CARD COMPANY OF THE ATTEMPTED FRAUD.

Dear x,

We recently notified you of a chargeback stating that the merchandise
received had one of the following problems:
- It was damaged or defective
- It was not as described, or
- Services were not rendered

It is PayPal's standard practice to dispute unwarranted chargebacks. Using
the information you provided, we are in the process of disputing this
chargeback with the buyer's card issuer.

Because the card issuer has reversed this charge, PayPal is temporarily
holding an amount equal to the disputed funds until this matter is
resolved. If the card issuer decides the case in your favor, the funds will
be available in your PayPal account.

The credit card company has charged PayPal a settlement fee for this
chargeback. In accordance with the terms of the PayPal User Agreement, we
have debited your PayPal account to cover this fee.
