Guest check out is no longer an option
Both EBAY and Paypal are conspiring to confiscate money from unsuspecting users. Call EBAY about a payment problem and they give you a number at Paypal and blame it all on Paypal. Call Paypal and they blame it on EBAY, or worse yet, they just hang up. Finally found out what my problem was and it was Paypal. They have a new policy that won’t allow anyone to checkout on EBAY, (or, I guess any shopping site) until you register a credit card number with Paypal. What? There used to be an option at checkout to pay for items using your credit card “as a guest” but not now.
I was told by the EBAY representative that this is a new policy as of 9/20/12, and I can no longer use any credit card to check out – that is unless I allow Paypal to keep that credit card on file – What?
I don’t think so… My question to this group is can you please tell me what other options are there for quick online checkout besides Paypal?

I have never been treated worse by any company or person then the way I have been treated by paypal and ebay (and I have been divorced 3 times) It’s never their fault and it’s never their problem. Somehow I am the one that keep screwing up and putting my money on hold. But They won’t tell me why my money is on hold. If paypal can be avoided I strongly recommend it. And don’t let paypal get your information it is NOT safe in their hands.
