Never Use PayPal For Big Money Transactions
Never Use PayPal For Big Money Transactions
By John Whittle
Hi, I just want to get my story across about paypals "unique customer service". I recently sold a laptop on ebay for about £600. The buyer seemed genuine but to this day I still don't know. Anyway, he payed me through paypal.
I waited , the funds were verified and then I could transfer them to my bank account. I got the money seemingly uninterrupted but seeing as I was an unverified account holder I could only take £500 a month out of my paypal account, so I did the necessary steps to become a verified member but got no where with it as I waited over a week to become verified.
Then out of nowhere I got an email off paypal saying that they suspect that I've received unauthorized funds and ar putting a freeze on my account. So after weeks of debating through emails and once on the phone, after fully cooperating with their investigation I got told the money had been reversed from my account so now every week
I get a system generated email saying my paypal account is negative please add funds immediately, well after trying countless times to email, they finally stopped ignoring more and told me that I was not covered for fraud because I was not verified. Even though I tried to become verified, they are seeing no money from me as they owe me about £75 from that transaction and I am currently without laptop.
So beware and don't touch paypal with a big stick.
