I received the following message via email today. 12/26/04. I looked at paypal and saw nothing "pending" I am not a member of Washingtom Mutual Bank and I sent this email to Paypal and told them they better not use my paypal account to do this.
Dear respected customer of Washington Mutual Bank,
Our Authorizations Department recorded a payment request from Paypal.com to enable the charge of $900.23 on your account.
The status of your payment is \"Pending\". Please ignore this message if you authorize this transaction. If you don\'t authorize this payment please click the link below to cancel it<<
I did not respond but it says if I don't then I will authorize it??? I thought if I responded I would also be authorizing it.
