PayPal took $700 sent to me

I had $700 sent to me through PayPal and they wouldn’t release it to me, saying it “was a suspicious amount”. No Ebay transaction or Gunbroker transaction, just a guy trying to send me $700 he owed me. They froze his account and he couldn’t get his money back. So now I don’t have the money and he doesn’t have the money or an account to use. I don’t know what was the final resolution, I just know I’m out $700. And recently I advertised on FeeBay and mentioned in the ad numerous times “NO PAYPAL” but the idiot buyer sent it PayPal anyway. I told the clown it’s his problem getting his money back, so PayPal sent him back his $75 and charged ME $2.48 for a transaction fee. I never authorized the use of PayPal and therefor I refuse to pay. Also the butt-wipes want to charge me $1.50 to send me a balance check of $1.30. I Only have one thing to tell PayPal; take your check and shove it. I am done with you! You too eBay!

So who had the $700? PayPal? Isn’t this a great business plan. Get people to use your, at best questionable payment service and then shut them down but keep their money. Banks can’t get away with this so why can paypal? I don’t get it. Paypal needs to get FDIC insured and stop taking peoples money and maybe I’ll consider using their service again but not until there has been some major changes

Yes I cannot understand why paypal is still in business today while it’s not being comprehensive to it’s costumers. I wish we can spread our cases to more people, i don’t care about the paypal, the main concern is not to let others to be trapped in Paypal way of doing service. Paypal may win in term of court justice but in term of doing service ..Paypal will “Pay” because they have competitors. And sooner or later the best one in term of service, will always be the winner.

Stolen money is what I call it because that’s what paypal did. They stole the money and put it in a interest baring account to make themselves some money. I don’t understand how they can get away with this and how the don’t have to be federally regulated like every other merchant account company out there. I will NEVER use paypal again I don’t care if they do make changes one day because I know they will always find a way to screw you over!

They have a method where you can gift or pay someone without having a product or service being sold or charging fees but it’s just another one of their shams. I was actually using it as a way to avoid chargeback’s for a while but that kinda blew up in my face. Paypal saw too many transactions coming in and stopped me in my tracks. My point is either way they give ya.
