Paypal called unauthorized charge a related charge

I had a customer ask for an unjustifiable refund of $800.00 I had no intention of refunding money, but PayPal made an unauthorized charge to my credit card on file; and did it in an underhanded manner. They attached the charge to a $5.95 magazine subscription that was authorized and called it a related charge. When I called Paypal customer service, the woman I talked with was a real jerk. And then when I spoke with her supervisor, he was an uninformed idiot. This charge even went against Ebay policies concerning reimbursements to buyers. But none the less I am still out the $800.00 and seem to be getting no closer at having it returned to me. I have not received the item back either so it is a double blow. To me this is nothing other then theft that paypal dressed up and called a “related charge”. Theft: the felonious taking and removing of personal property with intent to deprive the rightful owner of it. And this is exactly what paypal did!

Are you still using paypal? I have had my problems but never anything like what you are dealing with. But you can’t put anything past paypal these days. They are firing over 400 workers so you wonder what kind of money problems they are having and they seem to bee more aggressive in trying to collect on people as well even when it’s now owed
