Paypal debited my account twice in chargeback dispute

My account was frozen due to a chargeback dispute and PayPal DEBITED my account TWICE for the same transaction. So not only was I out the item and the cost of the item, paypal made me pay for it again. That was over $1200 of my money that paypal was holding not to mention the fact that I never got the item back. It took over a year to resolve yet my account is STILL frozen even though they said they it would be restored. And it is not a resolution that I was happy with but I guess it was better then nothing. I got the money back that they had charged me the second time but completely lost out on the original transaction. For a whole year Paypal was collecting interest on my money. I opened another paypal account to continue trading but I don’t trust them and never leave money in the account. And as soon as they figure out that I opened a second account they are going to shut down that account so I really need an alternative to PayPal.

    I have not had a chargeback to my paypal account yet but I am pretty new to paypal and ebay. But paypal did charge me twice for a TV wall-mount set that I bought of eBay and it was a big hassle to get it straightened out. At first the seller said he would just issue me a refund but he never received the funds into his account. So we were both calling and e-mailing paypal to find out what had happened to the money. At least one of us should have it, right? Finally I I was credited my money back but for both transactions. One of the payments should have gone to the seller! I ended up sending him money order and dealing with it outside of paypal and ebay.
