PayPal holds me responsible for what buyer does with item

Over 12 years as an eBay/Paypal customer. Over 660 transactions with 100% customer satisfaction. I sell a musical instrument to a man in Florida who turns a shill for a group in Japan. The address I send it to is a false front which in turn ships the instrument to Japan. The Japanese person who I did not sell the horn to says its damaged in shipping which I had no part in and demands a full refund from me. Paypal agrees and locks my account. How can this happen? I had no dealings with the Japanese person what so ever. I sold the horn to a man in Florida. End of story. What he then does with the horn is and should not be any of my concern or problem. Paypals whole “resolution center” and dispute section is a joke. There are no investigations being done to see who is right and who is wrong. No other company is as backwards as PayPal. I am sure they break many laws but cover themselves by paying off the right people allowing them to continue their quest to ruin the little man.
What gets me the most is that I was the victim in this case and with 12 years and 100% customer satisfaction I would have thought paypal would back me up. Boy was I wrong!

Bull crap is what this is, pure bull crap. You fulfilled your end of the deal by shipping the horn to then buyer and he received it. What the buyer does after he received the goods is not your problem nor should it be. PayPal has really gone down hill in recent years and I think more and more people are going to migrate away from them and their senseless behavior.

It is not fair that after all that processing for almost a decade or more PayPal decides to close your account due to a slick hacker!!!! I hate this company. They don’t care about the seller at all and they don’t care about who is right or wrong. They only care about themselves!!! It is disgusting, and they need to be closed down forever…. Thank God there is other alternative you can go and don’t have to deal with this mess. My friend has a merchant account and she is very happy with them. Check them out. http://www.merchantinc.com A company that cares.
