Paypal don’t live up to promises on their website

I purchased an engine off of ebay. I was forced to open a paypal account when the wrong engine arrived. Not only was it the wrong engine but it was badly damaged inside and out. It was not the engine I ordered at all. I opened the paypal account and now they want me to pay to return the engine. Thats an additional $300 to $500 and when the company gets the junk engine back they will refund my $625. How is that protection. I was ripped off. Paypal does not back up the claims that are on their website at all. It is just a whole bunch of empty promises to lure you to sign up with them. Now I’m stuck without a vehicle or my money and I will never ever use paypal again. Their customer service has been unwilling and very unhelpful in assisting me with this and I have even been hung up on twice. Very unprofessional and beyond frustrating.

Paypal will say anything to get you to sign up with them, they even answer the phone right away without the annoying prompts when you call their sales/account phone number. But once you are signed up you are on your own. What you can do in a case like yours is dispute the charge with your bank or credit card depending on how you funded the purchase. Paypal isn’t going to do squat for you.

Never believe what you see or hear with PayPal its all LIES!!!! If you charged the engine on your credit card you can file a charge back with the credit card company. You will have more of a chance to get your money back that way then through PayPal
