PayPal Locking Bank Account Numbers

Around 8 months ago I ATTEMPTED to sign up w/ Pay Pal at a public computer. Was using hotmail at the time. I entered all three (yes 3) checking account numbers and all 3 correspoding debit card numbers. Naturally, had a hassle in their “verification” process. Tried to close the accounts and was told I couldn’t because I wasn’t “verified”. Nuts to pay pal.
So now 8 months later I have a home computer and email, trying to establish an account only to find they are saying my accounts are “used by someone else”. Well, duh … it’s me. Needless to say, I can’t remember my old hotmail addresses, can’t convince paypal to someone verify my authenticity. This is absolutely nuts!!! Why do so many e-bay people insist on this paypal???
