AboutPaypal.org is an Anti-Paypal website created with the sole purpose of exposing the horrors of doing business "The PayPal Way". We are committed to assisting the public in making an informed decision about PayPal.
This website is a collection of horror stories, news reports and other information addressing problems with Paypal, Inc..
PayPal “invalidated” my main checking account in January, and started attempting to use the business checking account that was ONLY associated with my merchant account. I keep no money in the business account, so all the charges (and PayPal attempts three times for each charge) accrued a $32.50 NSF charge. When I noticed that my business account was overdrawn, I discovered the cause, closed that account and asked PayPal for reimbursement.
They were not helpful on the phone, and in response to their president, I received an impersonal email today stating that they would not reimburse me. I have filed a complaint with the FTC, and am now sending a letter to their CEO, but I doubt he’ll care either.
Is there anything I can do short of going to court?
