We sold a firearm on a large firearms auction site and allowed the purhaser to use his credit card via our PayPal account. And the nightmare began.
This guy contacts us several weeks after receiving the merchandise wanting a refund. I remind him that all sales are final and that we had send numerous pictures and exchanged phone calls before the transaction was completed in addition to offering him a chance to examine the merchandise before the sale. But he wanted this firearm to use and was in a hurry to get it befoe a trip.
He then contacts PayPal who freezes our account (thankfully we had transferred most of the money out prior to this). I answer their questionaire and wait to hear from them. When I finally do they have given this con-artist his money back and he still has the merchandise. They then invoice me for the money they have refunded him.
