I purchased an I-Pod for Xmas. just after I paid $260 thru PayPal, which they debited my Bank account immediately, started not getting any replies from the seller, sure enough E-Bay provided me with his phone number, which was permanently disconnected ....
I filed a claim with PayPal, and also made a phone call demanding reimbursement, next thing I got was as reply was an invitation to conduct a survey!!!!!!, to see if I was happy or nor with PayPal service.
Now they tell me they need to allow the seller 10 days to reply to my clain, (in and other 15 that are in his store feedback)
The lady that answered the phone, told me that well yes you are protected, but if you read the fine print you see that you are not that protected.... and also explained to me that E-Bay owns PayPAl.
Sorry for many honest merchants, but both E-Bay and PayPal, must be shut down immediately.... without any excuse and further delays to avoid that they harbor crooks since they are only interested in their fees.
Avoid yourself a loss stay away from them.
