I PURCHASED A $2500.00 COIN ON E-BAY ON 29 APRIL, 2012. BECOMMING SUSPICIOUS OF THE SELLER I TRIED TO CANCEL THE PURCHASE BUT TO NO AVAIL. THE COIN ARRIVED ON 4 MAY, REFUSED AT THE POST OFFICE ON THE 5TH AND SENT BACK. NOTIFIED PAYPAL AND THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 30 DAYS FOR REFUND OF $2500.00 ONCE ITEM ACCEPTED BY SENDER. COIN ARRIVED BACK AT SENDER’S P.O. ON 12 MAY BUT PAYPAL “MISFILED” MY CASE. CALLED PP TODAY AND AS OF MY CALL OF LAST SATURDAY THEY HAVE REFILED MY CASE WITH JUST A TEN DAY WAITING PERIOD EVEN THOUGH SENDER HAS REFUSED TO PICK UP HIS COIN @ POST OFFICE FOR 10 DAYS NOW AND HAS REFUSED EMAILS FROM PAY PAL TWICE. PP SAYS THAT AFTER TEN DAYS I WILL RECEIVE MY $2500.00 REFUND FROM THEM BUT I DO NOT BELIVE THEM. I HAVE LOST $2500.00 TO THEM AS THEY ARE DSISHONEST, UNSCRUPULOUS PEOPLE WHO SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE ENGAGED IN INER-STATE COMMERCE. SHOPPING WITH PAYPAL IS NOW A RISK WORTH TAKING FOR ME ANY LONGER. WILL BE LOOKING FOR ALTERNATIVES.Similar Complaints
