I am so sick of PayPal’s unethical business tactics
I have 100% perfect eBay feedback, and I work very hard to provide stellar customer service to all of my eBay buyers.
I recently lost my job, so I have been auctioning off my personal belongings to pay my mortgage and my car payment. I posted about 40 items on eBay with an extimated value of $4000. After 20 or so auctions ended, while I was waiting for about $2000 worth of PayPal payments, I receive an email from PayPal saying effective IMMEDIATELY, there would be a 21 day hold on all my payments!! They gave me no advance notice about this policy, and they implemented this policy while I had active auctions listed! If I would have known about this policy, I certainly would have found another venue to sell my belongings. I needed this money ASAP to pay my mortgage!!
I was a model eBay citizen and I followed PayPal’s rules to the letter of the law. I shipped within 24 hours of payment and I always posted tracking information. Now they are holding on to the money I DESPARATELY need to pay my bills, and they’re using MY MONEY to make interest for their unethical, greedy corporation. This is technically ILLEGAL, and they continually circumvent the financial legal system by paying millions of dollars to soulless corporate lawyers. I am so sick of PayPal’s unethical business tactics. They wreak of raw sewage, and they have nearly destroyed my finances and my LIFE. These people have no soul.

The 21 day hold is insane. Another tactic they have to make themselves richer while screwing everyone they come across. They get away wit this shit because the are NOT federally regulated by a bank. I don’t understand how this company has not been shut down. We need to get there greedy asses shut down!
21 days is nothing.
I was 2 steps away from starting my own business.
But suddenly without notice i saw my paypal account limited.
I talked to 6 different agents about wheter they open it or give me my money back that i had for creating my business.
After hours of talking they say ” you must wait 180 days ( half year ) inorder to renew the details of your account.
after 180 days we will contact you about how to remove limit on your account.
Within that time you can only see the activity done in past.
all other features have been restricted ”
That means my money is stuck there, my business is going down , PayPal scammed ( Backstabbed or Sidefucked, as u wish to call it ) me.
everything about paypal and ebay is sham. and they can do everything and anything to your money and you got no say about it. it all goes back to the user agreements they make we all sign and agree to in order to use their services. it sucks what they did to you and you are far from alone in this. the only way we can get paypal to listen is to stop using them. they are not going to change until it hurts their own bottom line.
