I have a Paypal visa and about 2 months ago there were $2,500 worth of overseas hotel rooms and charges to my credit card. I got this cleared up pretty quick only to recieve another email on Jan.10,2005 saying my paypal account was restricted AGAIN. Upon checking on this they had let $1,736.48 (4 sep. trans) be taken out of my bank account. My question is why do we have to supply paypal with a credit card and bank account numbers if they can’t protect them. I have changed my password and security quest. frequently and this still happens. I have filed a claim but still have not heard anything and its not listed on my account as an open dispute. I had to go to the bank and file a affadavite with them to try to get the money back. If anyone can help me please post.
